Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a contract between you (the couple, or anyone you authorise to manage your site) and WedX.Click, operated from Mumbai, India. By signing up for or using WedX, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the service.

2. The service

WedX provides a hosted, editable wedding-website builder. You pick a template, publish your event details, manage your guest list, and collect photos through a custom subdomain (e.g. your-names.wedx.click). Specific features depend on the plan you are on; see our pricing page for what each tier includes.

3. Beta period and pricing

• We are currently in beta through 31 May 2026. Sign-up is free during beta and grants full Pro-tier access for the duration of your wedding.
• Paid plans launch on 1 June 2026 at the prices shown on the pricing page (currently ₹2,000 Essential / ₹10,000 Pro per wedding). All prices are in Indian Rupees and exclude applicable GST.
• Couples who sign up during beta keep their access through their wedding date without additional charge.

4. Your account

• You must provide accurate information at signup and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• One account per couple. Sharing the dashboard with parents, planners, etc. is fine — that’s the multi-collaborator feature.
• You must be 18 or older to create an account.

5. Your content and your guests

• You own everything you publish on your wedding site. By using WedX you grant us the limited licence needed to host, display, back up and transmit that content for the purpose of running the service.
• You are responsible for the photos and guest data you import. By uploading guest contact information you confirm you have the right to do so and that your guests would reasonably expect to receive a wedding invitation from you.
• You are responsible for any consent required from guests who appear in photos uploaded to your gallery, including any consent required for minors.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use WedX to:

• Host content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or infringes someone else’s rights.
• Host content that is sexually explicit or depicts violence.
• Spam guests with non-wedding-related communication.
• Resell, sublicense, or rebrand the service as your own.
• Attempt to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, or test its security without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules without notice if the breach is severe or ongoing.

7. Hosting period

• Essential — your site is hosted for 4 months from publication.
• Pro — your site is hosted for 12 months from publication.
• During beta, all sites are hosted through 30 June 2027 at no charge.
• We will email you 30 days before your hosting expires with the option to renew or export your data.

8. Cancellation and refunds

• You can cancel your account at any time from the admin dashboard.
• Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of any plan fees already paid, but your site stays live for the remainder of your hosting period.
• If something genuinely goes wrong on our end (extended outage, severe bug), email us within 14 days at hello@wedx.clickand we’ll work it out fairly.

9. Service availability

We aim for high availability but make no formal uptime guarantee during beta. We will publish a service-level agreement before paid plans launch on 1 June 2026. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (AWS, DNS, payment providers) and events outside our reasonable control may cause downtime.

10. Disclaimers

WedX is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WedX’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) ₹5,000. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of guests, missed RSVPs, or photos that fail to upload.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify WedX against claims arising from your content, your use of guest data, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively by the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect and update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Continued use after the change date means you accept the updated Terms.
