Cookies Policy

1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. Cookies are how websites remember things between page loads — for example, that you’re signed in. Some “cookies” are technically local storage entries; we treat them the same way in this policy.
2. How we use cookies
We use only cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the service. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or social-media tracking pixels. If we ever add optional cookies, we will surface a banner asking for your consent before setting them.
3. Cookies we set
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
CognitoIdentityServiceProvider.* | Amazon Cognito | Keeps you signed in to your admin dashboard. | Until sign-out (refresh token: 30 days). |
cf_chl_* | Cloudflare Turnstile | CAPTCHA challenge during signup. Set only on the /signup page. | Session. |
wedx-editor-* (local storage) | WedX | Remembers your editor preferences (sidebar width, last-edited section). | Persistent until you clear browser storage. |
4. Cookies we don’t set
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any other third-party analytics or advertising tracker. If that changes, we will update this list and ask for your consent before activating them.
5. Controlling cookies
Every modern browser lets you view, block or delete cookies — usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking the cookies above will sign you out of your dashboard and can prevent the signup form from completing the CAPTCHA.
6. Do Not Track
Because we don’t use tracking cookies, we don’t need to honour Do Not Track signals. We mention this in the spirit of full disclosure — your browser’s DNT setting has no effect because there’s nothing for it to toggle.
7. Updates to this policy
If we add cookies or change how we use them, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will also be notified by email to account holders.
